Samadhi completed her program in Vancouver in 2017 and since then has worked in various places in BC before settling down her roots again in Nelson with her young family. She was born and raised in the Kootenays and always knew she wanted to return.

In her free time, you will find her with her family in the mountains and around the lake. She enjoys camping, gardening, hiking, paddle boarding, skiing and soccer. These passions, paired with her caring nature, inspired her to pursue her career as an RMT.

She has eight years of experience working with many different types of clients. Her specific RMT interests include (but are not limited to) sports injuries, headaches, whiplash, TMJ issues, physical manifestations from various mental health concerns, pre and postnatal care as well as infant massage.

In addition to her Bachelor’s degree and RMT diploma Samadhi has gone on to take various courses to further her knowledge in Massage Therapy. These include courses in pregnancy and postpartum, infant massage, and TMJ treatments.

Samadhi uses a variety of techniques specific to each clients needs. She uses strong moderate pressure and works slow following the demands of the tissue she is working with. She performs treatments both with and without oil using modalities such as myofascial release, neuomuscular techniques, stretching, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, and remedial exercises. Her main focus is to ensure her client can be relaxed and in the moment while she effectively targets and tailors her approach to their individual needs.

Anik was first introduced to massage after completing her certificate as a bodyworker at Vancouver School Of Healing Arts in 2020. Shortly after, she wanted to deepen her practice and knowledge on how to help heal the human body.
